Barnsley Sweater is a textured sweater inspired by country walks in the English countryside. The textured pattern is worked over 4 rows from the top down to give a beautiful waffle effect. First the neck edge is worked and folded over, then short rows create shape to the neck as part of the yoke. The sweater is then divided for body and sleeves and new stitches are cast on for the underarms. Body and sleeves are finished separately and worked in the round, and the edges are bound off using your preferred bind off technique.

Circular needles: 3mm 40 cm, 3.5mm 80 – 120 cm and 4mm (60 – 120 cm)
Double-pointed needles: 3.5mm
Materials:
250 (300) 300 (350) 400 (400) g Merino by Knitting for Olive held together with 150 (150) 150 (175) 225 (225) g Soft Silk Mohair by Knitting for Olive. If you want to lengthen the sweater you will require more yarn.
