Rosmond Sweater (English)

£6.95

This pattern is in English.

Rosmond Sweater is knitted in stockinette with an oversized silhouette and a single cable (that does not require a cable needle) worked along the shoulders that is then carried on down the sleeve. Included within the pattern for this elegant, cosy and comfortable sweater are instructions to work two optional hearts over the chest using duplicate stitch once the sweater has been finished.

The sweater is worked from the top down. The neck is worked first in the round with a classic rib stitch; the yoke continues to be worked in the round with short rows and increases at each shoulder. The front and back are then worked separately back and forth, then joined at the underarms to work in the round. Sleeve stitches are picked up at each armhole and worked in the round with a single cable carried down from the shoulders. Short row shaping at both the neck and sleeves creates the perfect fit for this oversized silhouette. All edging is worked in a classic rib stitch. Once the sweater is complete you can choose whether to work two hearts on the chest using duplicate stitch.

During the month of October each year 100% of all sale proceeds will go to Breast Cancer Research Charity.
